Pavillion framing underway
The pavillion footers were poured at the end of last season, and the pad earlier this season by CSS Contracting. Thank you once again to Chris and crew!
Before things got too cold last fall, the site was staked out and the footings went in, we had expected to be able to construct the pavillion last fall, but mother nature, and the supply chain said no!

Site staked out and roped off last fall, ready for excavation.

The footing trench excavated, with Sonotube forms staged on the pad area waiting to be set.

Forms set and braced in the trench, awaiting concrete.

The poured piers, backfilled and ready to overwinter before the pad went in this spring.

Pad forms in place over the piers, ready for the slab pour.
Last week the construction of the actual pavillion began. With Bad Goat designing and leading the build, they’ve made huge progress.

Some of the timbers staged near the park entrance, waiting to be assembled.

Looking at the new pavillion under construction from the parking lot side facing north.

Another view from the east facing west, showing the rafters going up over the slab.
